A student who has acquired a diploma in Engineering through a minimum of three years of institutional study, after 10+(Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination) can be considered to be academically equivalent to a student who has passed the first year of the four year Engineering degree programme for which the qualifying examination is of the 12+ level.

Lateral entry for diploma holders, and B.Sc. Pass (Maths) will be allowed in the second year third semester level. Seats in addition to the sanctioned intake at first year level, limited to a maximum of 10% will be reserved for such students.

Admission is made through the Counseling by DTE for the students who have passed their Diploma from AICTE/DTE/RGPV Approved Institute in first Division. The DTE/ Competent authority prescribes allotment of branch. Admissions are Available on 10% of sanctioned intake.

B.Sc. Pass (Maths) students are also eligible for direct admission to Second Year
